Dr. Walsh completed a PhD in microbiology and medical genetics and went on to pursue medical school and residency training in Dermatology at the University of Toronto.  He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and Division of Dermatology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and is courtesy staff at Women’s College Hospital.  He has been Program Director for the Division of Dermatology since 2006 with a complement of 35 Residents, making U of T one of the largest dermatology training programs in the world.  He has a busy medical dermatology teaching practice with subspecialty interests including immuno-bullous diseases, cutaneous lymphomas and hematological disorders, psoriasis, connective tissue diseases and adult genodermatoses.
