Dr. Gruchy is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie University and the Medical Teaching Unit (MTU) Director for the Department of Medicine. A graduate of Memorial University Medical School, Dr Gruchy completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Epidemiology followed by a specialty in Gastroenterology at Dalhousie University. Research interests include quality outcomes in endoscopy, ambulatory care and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
